Windermere’s third sustainable race day introduced a new national class and underlined growing momentum behind lower-carbon powerboat racing.
Zodiac Nautic have announced the launch of a new rigid inflatable, the Open 5.5, with a view to spearheading the revival of the brand.
The new craft is a versatile rigid-hulled inflatable that can be used for various activities, including family cruising, fishing trips, diving with friends and towed water sports such as wakeboarding. It is 5.40m long and 2.5m wide, can accommodate up to 12 passengers and can be equipped with an engine with a maximum power of 130hp.
Dominique Heber-Suffrin, CEO of the Zodiac Nautic Group, commented: ‘The Open 5.5 fully expresses Zodiac’s DNA in line with their new slogan: “Keep Exploring”.’
