Windermere unveils new sustainable GT Mono Light class
Windermere’s third sustainable race day introduced a new national class and underlined growing momentum behind lower-carbon powerboat racing.
Cyclone Boats, who have consistently produced winners in every category of world championship ski racing, are currently seeking new owners to take the brand into the future. The company has a long and prestigious heritage, beginning in Australia 30 years ago before relocating to the UK where it continued to develop and evolve using some of the most talented designers and craftsmen in the industry.
In 2018, the boatbuilding moved to a new location beside the River Danube to take advantage of the long tradition of master craftsmen and for easy access to markets around the Mediterranean. The relocation of the company to Europe has proved to be economically advantageous in a competitive market.
Cyclone Boats are built under licence and have gained EU certification for recreational use.
