Axopar Boats has introduced the 38 Sun Top, the second model in its all-new 38 range, following the 38 XC Cross Cabin, which debuted at boot Düsseldorf 2026.

Built around openness, flexibility and shared time on the water, the 38 Sun Top combines an open-air layout with the same hull, drivability and liveability that underpin the 38 XC Cross Cabin. Axopar says the model is designed to bring the helm, cockpit and aft deck together as one continuous social space for driving, dining and relaxing.
The mid-section offers a highly flexible seating arrangement, with options ranging from individual helm seats to a forward-facing U-sofa that converts into a sunbed using an electric hi-lo table. A driver’s sofa with flip-up bolsters and a reversible backrest allows the cockpit to shift between driving, dining and lounging.
With optional bulwark seating, the cockpit can host up to 10 people. The aft deck can be extended with foldable activity platforms and alternative fender box layouts to support swimming, watersports and loading gear.
The Sun Top roof features a sliding canvas, allowing the helm and cockpit to open to the sky or provide shade and shelter. Optional roll-down canopies add further protection while maintaining visibility.
The boat uses Axopar’s twin-stepped V hull, supported by an overbuilt stringer system. The platform also includes refined hydrodynamics, improved weight distribution and a re-engineered hull profile.
Below deck, the front cabin includes increased headroom, a kitchen module and an optional enclosed toilet with shower.
Boating has never been about the journey alone — it is about the people you share it with. The Axopar 38 Sun Top is built around that simple idea, giving owners the freedom to shape their experience on the water while staying true to the performance and quality that define the range.
Meanwhile, watch out for our forthcoming PBR test of the 38 Sun Top for the full critical insight on this new model.
Base prices start from €190,425 excluding VAT.
