Meaco Sefte 6” fan combines portability and longer life 

Meaco has launched the new Sefte® 6” Portable Battery Air Circulator, a compact rechargeable fan designed for quiet, personal cooling at home, at work and on the move. 

Weighing 1.7kg, the new model replaces the bestselling MeacoFan 260c and has been developed with a longer-life approach. Unlike many rechargeable fans with sealed-in batteries, the Sefte® 6” has been designed so the battery can be replaced when required. 

Rechargeable batteries have a finite life and may typically need replacing after around two to three years, depending on use. Meaco says this design helps customers keep the fan in service for longer, reducing avoidable plastic waste and improving long-term value. 

Designed in the UK using feedback from Meaco customers, the Sefte® 6” offers up to 26.5 hours of cordless cooling. Its portable format makes it suitable for desks, bedside tables, kitchens, home offices, caravans, holidays and other places where close-up airflow is needed. 

The fan also introduces more proportional airflow, with lower speed settings adjusted to provide gentler cooling when used nearby. Noise levels are as low as 23dB, and users can mute all beeps and turn off all lights, making it better suited to bedrooms and quiet spaces. 

The Sefte® 6” includes Normal, ECO and Night modes, 12 fan speeds, a large digital display, on and off timer, hidden carry handle, DC brushless motor, deep draw blades and horizontal oscillation.
