Wellcraft unveils the all-new 243 Fisherman

Wellcraft has introduced the reinvented 243 Fisherman, marking a further step in its expansion into purpose-built offshore boats. The new model builds on the established Fisherman platform with refinements aimed at improving offshore performance, onboard functionality and everyday comfort.

Re-engineered from the deck up, the 243 Fisherman features a larger aft cockpit designed as a practical fishing workspace. The layout provides room for rigging, landing fish or spending time aboard with family and friends.

A 20-degree deep-V hull and elevated freeboard are designed to deliver a secure, dry ride offshore or along the coast. Fuel capacity stands at 188 US gallons, allowing extended range for longer runs. A full walkaround layout supports 360-degree fishability, complemented by stainless-steel hardware, non-skid decks and integrated rod storage.

The redesigned bow supports trolling motor installation, while the stern is supplied Power-Pole ready from the factory.

The bow area has been redesigned with improved ergonomics and convertible seating layouts. At the helm, the driver-focused position incorporates intuitive controls and a dash capable of accommodating dual displays, protected by a windscreen and updated hardtop.

An easy-access head compartment, integrated storage and durable upholstery support longer days on the water.

A 23-gallon livewell and insulated in-deck fish boxes provide practical catch storage. Under-gunwale rod storage and quick-clean deck surfaces are engineered for efficiency during active fishing.

The Wellcraft 243 Fisherman makes is made it’s world premiere at the Miami International Boat Show.
