New flagship marks a milestone for the Italian shipyard

Breva Marine has chosen the Cannes Yachting Festival, which is running this week (8 to 13 September), to give the new BV1300 its world premiere. The model is the largest built by the Italian shipyard to date, according to Breva Marine.

With an overall length of 12.73 metres and a beam of 4.06 metres, the BV1300 extends Breva Marine’s design approach into the maxi-RIB segment, combining Italian styling, performance and a configurable layout. Breva Marine describes the boat as designed to adapt to how each owner wants to use it, rather than the other way around.

Four deck layouts, four ways to use the boat

The BV1300’s cockpit can be arranged in four configurations. Open offers maximum space on board, suited to sport fishing, transporting and stowing equipment, or professional use. Social lounge adds a large U-shaped dinette for entertaining. Comfort cruiser introduces integrated seating for passenger comfort underway. Sun deck turns the cockpit into a sun pad offering room to stretch out and enjoy the sun.

Each layout can be developed further with Breva Marine’s in-house design studio, with seating, materials and accessories adjusted to the owner’s requirements.

Interior layout adapts to cruising or storage needs

Below deck, the BV1300 can be fitted out with two double beds, a bathroom with a separate shower and a living area lit by large forward windows. Owners who prioritise day cruising or storage can instead convert the aft cabin into a luggage and equipment space while keeping the forward cabin, giving the layout a wider range of uses, from overnight trips to long days out with family and guests.

Mercury, Garmin and Treemme among the project's partners

Breva Marine built the BV1300 with a number of established marine suppliers, among them Mercury and Yamaha for engines, Garmin and Raymarine for electronics, Spradling and MDU for upholstery, and Treemme for taps and fittings. Breva Marine told PBR that working with specialist companies is central to its approach of sourcing reliable, innovative components for each part of the project.

Evening events pair the boat with RIVO GIN

At Cannes, Breva Marine is also being joined by RIVO GIN as official partner for its Breva Experience events for clients, dealers, press and guests. From 6pm each evening this week, the stand is being set up as a meeting point where visitors can view the range and enjoy the Cannes sunset with a Gin & Tonic by RIVO GIN.

BV1300 heads to Genoa as BV1100 nears launch

After Cannes, the BV1300 moves on to the Genoa International Boat Show from 1 to 6 October, where it will be shown alongside the BV630 and BV800. Breva Marine says the three models together illustrate the shipyard’s range and its growth over recent years.

A further model, the BV1100, is due to join the range in 2027, sitting between the BV800 and BV1300, with further details expected in the coming months, the shipyard says.
