If you’re in Cowes or Torquay this weekend, head over to catch the thrills and spills of the Cowes -Torquay-Cowes Race. Around 20 boats are expected to be in the line-up to take on the challenge of the 200 mile classic, long recognised as one of powerboating’s toughest races. The race starts at 9.30 am from Cowes, with boats expected to arrive at Torquay from 10.30/11am onwards for the fastest entries. Presentations will be made at Haldon Pier, Torquay at 12.30, with a parade at 1.30pm, followed by the race start back to Cowes at 2pm. Podium presentation at Cowes at 4pm.
