Musto has launched its updated EVO Collection in time for the Spring/Summer 2025 sailing season, offering new garments across its Crew and Sport ranges. The relaunch includes redesigned jackets, mid-layers, performance trousers, shorts, and sun-protection apparel, featuring technical fabrics and revised fits.
Originally introduced in 2007 as the Evolution Collection, the line is now rebranded simply as EVO. According to Musto’s Marketing Director, Nick Houchin, the collection continues the brand’s focus on combining athlete feedback with technical innovation for comfort and functionality.
The EVO Crew line is aimed at sailing teams and includes items designed for personalisation. New pieces include the EVO Crew Softshell jacket and vest, providing wind resistance and warmth. The Crew Sunblock range features UPF50-rated fabrics with jade-infused cooling fibres, designed for both performance and protection. These include short and long-sleeve tops and polos. The EVO Pro-Lite T-Shirt, made from recycled polyester, offers 4-way stretch and active wicking.
In legwear, the EVO Performance Stretch Trouser stands out with a revised fit and lighter construction. Made from nylon and spandex with reinforced areas, the trousers also offer UPF50 protection and rapid drying.
The EVO Sport range includes technical outerwear suitable for a variety of activities. The Venture 3-layer jacket is waterproof, wind-resistant, and breathable, with reflective detailing and a hydrostatic head (HH) rating of 5,000–19,000mm. A 2-layer EVO Lite Rain Jacket offers similar protection at a lower price point.
Additional items include the EVO Full Zip Hoodie, Polartec 200 Fleece garments, and the lighter 100g EVO Polartec 100 Fleece jacket—suited for transitional weather and versatile layering.
