Technohull debuts two-model Cannes line-up

Technohull is presenting two models embodying its vision of the modern high-performance luxury dayboat at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026: the world premiere Alpha 45 and the flagship Alpha 50, shown together at the show for the first time, according to Technohull.

Together, the two boats reflect the brand’s focus on speed, seaworthiness and design, paired with comfort and everyday usability at sea, the company says. Technohull describes itself as one of the leading names in high-performance luxury vessels internationally, citing more than 1,500 boats delivered worldwide and an established global dealer network. The Greek shipyard builds boats from 25.5 to 50 feet, combining naval architecture, technology and craftsmanship, according to the company.

How fast is the new Technohull Alpha 45?

Making its global debut this week in Cannes, the Alpha 45 is Technohull’s latest sport dayboat, sitting between the Alpha 40 and Alpha 50 in the range. At 13.8 metres, it is built on the company’s Dynastream deep-V hull, with ventilated steps and a wave-piercing bow designed for handling across a range of sea conditions. In its most powerful configuration, with quad 500hp engines, Technohull says the Alpha 45 reaches speeds in excess of 85 knots.

An aerodynamic hardtop with a full-glass windscreen and integrated side console deflectors improve airflow and comfort at the helm, where a double row of three-abreast seats places the helmsman centrally for visibility and control. The deck layout is flexible, with a U-shaped bow sunpad, a forward-facing bench built into the central console, and a full walkaround deck. Owners can choose between several aft layouts, including sunpads of different sizes with forward-facing seating, or an L-shaped settee with access to the stern platform.

Below deck, a gullwing side door opens at the touch of a button to a cabin for two, with a double berth, a separate full-beam head with shower and what Technohull describes as generous standing headroom. At Cannes, on stand TENDER 115, the Alpha 45 is being presented in white with triple Mercury 400R outboards, a large aft sunbed and a single row of three helm seats.

What defines the Alpha 50 flagship?

The Alpha 50 is Technohull’s largest and flagship model, shown alongside the Alpha 45 on stand PAN 031. The company says the design marks a new direction for the brand, pairing a signature arcing carbon hardtop and integrated windscreen with clean, aerodynamic lines. A wide deck is built around lounging and social space, including an island sunbed, an aft cockpit and a bow sunpad.

Like the Alpha 45, the Alpha 50 is built on Technohull’s Dynastream hull, with a semi-straight wave-piercing bow and twin ventilated steps for stability. Outboard and inboard engine options offer performance of up to around 100mph, depending on set-up. Below deck, the boat has a cabin for two with a separate head and shower, plus an optional sleeping area beneath the bow sunbed for up to two extra berths.

Technohull's Alpha range on the international stage

Technohull told PBR that the Alpha 45’s world premiere alongside the Alpha 50 represents one of their most complete showings yet of its performance dayboat range. Currently at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the Alpha 45 is on stand TENDER 115 and the Alpha 50 on stand PAN 031.
