This popular regional event, with free entry, promises to be a highlight for the boating community. From regular boaters to newcomers, the show offers a unique opportunity for everyone to have access to look around and climb on board a vast range of boats during spring.
The Thames Valley Boat Show boasts a strong lineup of leading marine companies, including Bates Wharf, Tingdene, Bray Marine Sales and TBS ensuring a comprehensive range of land and on-water stands. With 100 dedicated sales berths afloat, 40+ marquee spaces ashore, and 50 boat spaces found ashore, attendees can expect a vast array of boats and accessories to explore.
Chris Manners, TBS Sales and event founder said “This boutique show gives us a chance to see our local audience and give them a great experience in a stunning location. With easy access from the Home Counties and London we are excited about seeing new and familiar faces. The last show was very popular, and with the additional support from BoatLife and MDL, this year it will be even better”
With a family-friendly atmosphere, there will be activities such as SUP sessions and demonstrations of dinghy sailing available for children. A broad choice of catering with food and drink, accompanied by live music throughout the event. As a special addition, the show will feature a late opening on Saturday, offering extended hours of enjoyment.
In partnership with MDL Marinas, the show has received full support, allowing use of the entire marina site for the event and entry is free, as is the carpark. Thorpe Park has partnered with the organisers to provide ample parking, ensuring convenient accessibility for visitors, plus an opportunity for families to possibly combine two activities in one day!
Richard Dove commented, “In 2024 the whole ethos of BoatLife as a brand is coming to life, with the core Birmingham show established it allows us scope to deliver new events and support events like these, bringing boating to more and more audiences. The May Bank Holiday dates, free entry and key location make an ideal combination to appeal to families and the goal is to bring new people into the industry.”
Set against the picturesque backdrop of MDL’s Penton Hook Marina, spanning 80 acres with 575 berths, the venue provides the perfect setting for a show aimed at attracting serious buyers. Save the date for the Thames Valley Boat Show and enjoy this celebration of boating excellence.
