Boat and equipment sales rise at Finland’s Uiva Flytande show
Uiva Flytande drew over 10,000 visitors to Helsinki, with strong sales for Axopar, Buster and Saxdor signalling a market recovery.
A concerted effort to increase sales and establish new business partner relationships within the UK seems to be paying off for Dutch trailer manufacturer Vanclaes BV. A successful appearance at the recent BoatLife event at the NEC, Birmingham, resulted in nine trailers sold and three trade business partner agreements signed up.
UK Account Manager Adam Fiander said: ‘The design and functionality of galvanised-steel trailers has not really moved on since about the 1970s, and this kind of product no longer cuts the mustard with many boat owners and brokers out there. For not a lot more money, owners can now have a fully stainless-steel trailer that is an asset to their boat – something to be proud of, with high functionality that will give reliable service and peace of mind on the road for years to come.’
