This new partnership will see Flexiteek UK supply and support Ancasta Yacht Services’ expert craftsmen with its full range of synthetic teak decking products, including the new Flexiteek 3 range of colours.
“With its highly skilled shipwright team and centrally located undercover workshop facilities in Hamble, Ancasta Yachts Services is the ideal installation partner for Flexiteek UK on the South Coast as we continue to develop and expand our product range,” says Rob Tilney, Director at Advanced Marine Decking (Flexiteek UK).
“This agreement has come at a very exciting time for our company, following the development of the new DAME award nominated Flexiteek 3, which launched last year at Metstrade and will premiere for the first time at the upcoming boot Düsseldorf boat show.”
Designed to be as aesthetically pleasing as traditional teak, Flexiteek 3 has been created using a bio-attributed PVC, which produces 80% less greenhouse gases than fossil-based PVC and is REACH compliant and 100% recyclable.

Mandy Boughton, Managing Director at Ancasta Yacht Services, comments: “We’re delighted to be able to offer such an innovative new decking solution to our yacht and motorboat owners.
“A more sustainable, lower maintenance alternative to natural teak, Flexiteek 3 also benefits from having improved cooling properties, ensuring a more comfortable barefoot experience on deck during the increasingly warmer summer months.
“For owners looking to upgrade their decking this year, we can create the desired decking look using one of Flexiteek’s wide range of colour options, including a new Ash shade for those seeking a lighter style. Now is the ideal time for owners to give their yachts a makeover, as well as upgrade any older deck gear and address any gel repairs lingering from last season.”
The full range of Flexiteek’s products will be on display at boot Düsseldorf (18-26 January), including the new Flexiteek 3. Sample sets will also be available following the show at Ancasta Yacht Services to help customers specify and visualise how their new deck will look and feel.

Part of the Ancasta Group, Ancasta Yachts Services is an integral part of Ancasta’s boat sales ecosystem, commissioning new sail and power craft from the extensive list of brands Ancasta represents, as well as carrying out refits, repairs and upgrades on all yachts, old and new.
In addition to its partnership with Flexiteek UK, Ancasta Yacht Services is an approved installer and service agent for large range of leading marine brands, including Jet Thruster, Yanmar, Volvo Penta, Lewmar, Harken, Fischer Panda, OceanLED and Bluefin LED.
