Windermere unveils new sustainable GT Mono Light class
Windermere’s third sustainable race day introduced a new national class and underlined growing momentum behind lower-carbon powerboat racing.
All three of the new yachts feature three master cabins, two bathrooms and a fourth cabin for additional guests or crewmembers. The 52ft-long E52 F and S models can accommodate seven overnight passengers and 12 people on board for a day’s boating, while the 56ft-long E56 F houses eight overnight passengers and can carry 14 people during the day.
The yachts are also equipped with Volvo Penta’s Electronic Vessel Control (EVC) – which integrates engine, drive systems and function controls in one interface – and the Glass Cockpit System, which allows the driver to customise operational functions.
