Entrants need to demonstrate how they are promoting good environmental practice and sustainability to show visitors and their customers, be it through new products and equipment, environmentally friendly changes to their stand or even changes they have made to their day-to-day company procedures outside of the show.
The nominations will be judged by a specially selected panel consisting of Paul Gullet (MD Wave Intl and President of British Marine), Mike Golding OBE (Patron of The Green Blue), James Brushwood (Environment and Health & safety Executive British Marine), Phil Horton (RYA Environment & Sustainability Manager) and Kate Fortnam (Campaign Manager, The Green Blue).
The overall winner will be presented their award by Mike Golding on the opening day of the show (Friday 16 September) on the Foredeck Stage at 11.30am. All entrants will also receive a plaque to display during the show to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability.
To enter the Awards, companies must be contracted to exhibit at the Southampton International Boat Show 2022 and signed up to the Sustainable Exhibitor & Contractor Charter, details of which can be found in the Exhibitor Manual.
