Fjord 42 to Debut at SBS
Inspiration Motor Yachts will be hosting the UK debut of the new Fjord 42 Open at the Southampton Boat Show this year. The range of Fjord day/weekend cruisers already spans 36 to 48 ft and the 42 introduces new features to the middle of the range with its optional lowering hydraulic bathing platform for launching the tender and comfortable access to the water, plus a dedicated garage for water sports gear, diving equipment or swimming aids.
The large cockpit quickly transforms from a sun deck into a dining area large enough for a party of 12, and the hard T-top houses an electrically operated sliding bimini. And when the sun goes down, there are coloured courtesy lights in the cockpit and underwater lights beneath the transom.
Down below there is a large en suite owner’s cabin with island bed, plus a heads and separate shower and plenty of storage. For guests or for family members there is an optional second cabin with two single berths.
