Windermere unveils new sustainable GT Mono Light class
Windermere’s third sustainable race day introduced a new national class and underlined growing momentum behind lower-carbon powerboat racing.
The new IC-M330GE from Icom is one of the smallest fixed VHF/DSC radios on the market. The front face matches the size of a modern smartphone, but despite its size, the IC-M330GE has all the hallmarks of Icom’s familiar design, ease of use and performance.
This new radio features the same common user interface that has been adopted on the latest Icom radios, including intuitive ‘soft keys’ permitting faster access to radio functions.
The IC-M330GE and microphone are waterproof to IPX7 and can withstand submersion in up to a 1 metre of water for 30 minutes. The set also features an AquaQuake draining function.
An integral GPS receiver is also included, which will allow your current position and time to be used for DSC calls.
