Windermere unveils new sustainable GT Mono Light class
Windermere’s third sustainable race day introduced a new national class and underlined growing momentum behind lower-carbon powerboat racing.
This is an exclusive first look at the sport yacht’s design and capabilities. The 50 Evolution features a three-sided glass-enclosed bridge with opening side windows, newly designed hullside windows, a catwalk and transom door, and an expanded hullside platform for easy water access. Below deck, the spacious cabin includes soft-touch upholstered walls, a full galley, a queen berth, an opulent head, and two staterooms, ideal for extended stays or weekend getaways.
Powered by triple Mercury 600 V12 engines, the 50 Evolution delivers high performance and efficiency for offshore cruising, entertaining, or family adventures.
“This model is more than just a boat, it’s a gateway to adventure, relaxation, and unforgettable experiences,” said Terry McNew, President of Intrepid Powerboats.
The Palm Beach International Boat Show runs from 19th to 23rd March, with Intrepid Powerboats showcasing the 50 Evolution and latest models at Ramp 7.
