Northern Irish boatbuilder Redbay Boats has entered into a new collaboration with Pantaenius UK, appointing the specialist boat insurer as its preferred boat insurance partner. This partnership ensures that Redbay owners receive tailored cover designed to match the performance, durability, and adventure-ready nature of their vessels.
Founded in 1977, Redbay Boats is renowned for its Stormforce RIBs, hand-built to exacting standards and trusted in some of the world’s most extreme environments. Whether for leisure boaters or commercial operators, Redbay owners demand reliability. Now, with Pantaenius UK, they have a boat insurance provider that understands exactly what their boats are built for.
“We build boats to perform in the harshest conditions, so it’s vital our owners have insurance that’s just as dependable,” says Tom McLaughlin from Redbay. “Pantaenius shares our passion for quality and service, giving owners real peace of mind on the water.”
As part of the partnership, Pantaenius will support Redbay owner events. These will include the famous Cushendall to Islay Ardbeg Run, an annual rally to the renowned Islay distillery, sponsored by Suzuki. Additional owner gatherings and experiences are planned for 2025, giving the opportunity to meet the team from both companies.
“Redbay Boats represent the best in craftsmanship and capability,” says Simon Hedley, Head of Commercial Partnerships at Pantaenius UK. “Our specialist policies are designed to complement that, offering comprehensive protection wherever their adventures take them.”
With both long term family owned brands committed to quality, expertise, and customer support, this partnership brings together two leaders in their fields – delivering exceptional boats with insurance to match.
