Redbay Boats continue to develop their successful offshore model range of RIBs, with plans now well underway to build their largest vessel yet, the all-new Stormforce 1450 ‘super-RIB’. Work has already begun on the plug and mould production for this latest craft.
Redbay MD Tom McLoughlin told PBR: ‘We have already secured two orders, with the first planned for March 2021. At 14.50m, the Stormforce 1450 is being developed as an ‘all seasons’ expedition-style cruising RIB. It will have full live-aboard facilities complete with two twin cabins and one double cabin, delivering the potential for eight people to cruise and sleep in comfort.’
Available with either Volvo IPS or DPI sterndrive, the new Stormforce will have a range of 650 miles and cruise comfortably at 25‒28 knots.
