Scanstrut celebrates Red Dot Award for Ventura Series

Scanstrut has been awarded a Red Dot Award: Product Design 2026 for its Ventura Series, marking another notable milestone for the Exeter-based company.

The Ventura Series was recognised for its design quality, with the Red Dot Jury highlighting its combination of precision engineering, intuitive functionality and a refined, cohesive aesthetic. The range brings together exterior utility solutions including 12V power, USB-C charging, solar, water, TV and mains connections within a compact, low-profile format.

Established in 1955, the Red Dot Award: Product Design is widely regarded as one of the leading international design competitions. Each year, an independent panel of experts reviews thousands of entries, assessing innovation, functionality, durability and design longevity.

Built on more than 40 years of engineering experience in marine and outdoor environments, the Ventura Series reflects Scanstrut’s long-standing design principles. Key features include IP68 and IP69K waterproof protection, a spring-loaded click-shut lid with 90° hold functionality, marine-grade 316 stainless steel hardware, UV-resistant materials, simplified installation through standardised cut-out dimensions, and a consistent premium design across the range.

The Red Dot Award adds to a successful year for the Ventura Series, which has also received the iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 and 1st Place in the Equipment Design category at the European Innovation Awards 2026, presented at CMT Stuttgart.
