Seacott Marine have announced their latest all-aluminium boat. Called the ‘Shearwater 19’, this 19ft craft comes fully fitted out with luxurious seating for five, a dashboard with comprehensive instrumentation, windscreen and twin sunbeds atop the engine hatches. Power is supplied by an inboard 135hp MerCruiser engine with shaft drive, and her sleek lines are designed to provide a smooth ride on the plane with minimal slamming.
Seacott Marine’s CEO, James Oakley, explained: ‘The project has taken an intense three years to complete while we selected the right design format and perfected the build process. Of particular note is the standard of fit and finish ‒ we’ve used high-end materials, including mahogany, for the dashboard and rubbing strakes, stainless steel fittings and faux leather-trimmed seating.’
The Shearwater 19 is particularly well suited to inland waterways and lakes, and could equally serve as a superyacht tender.
