AIATA marks less than two years since its international debut

PBR can reveal that AIATA, the boat brand developed by Anadolu Motor and part of the Anadolu Group portfolio, will return to the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 with the world premiere of the Wayfinder 50, its new enclosed flagship built on the brand’s 50-foot platform. AIATA will also exhibit the Sunfinder 38, presenting two different interpretations of modern boating.

Less than two years after its international debut, AIATA says it is evolving into an increasingly recognised name in the global boating market. Backed by Anadolu Group’s industrial and financial resources, the company has broadened its product range while building an international dealer network and a brand identity centred on versatility, comfort and design, according to AIATA.

How the Wayfinder 50 expands AIATA's model range

The arrival of the Wayfinder 50 is the latest step in AIATA’s development programme. Following the introduction of the Wayfinder 38, Sunfinder 38 and Sunfinder 50, the new model extends AIATA’s line-up and moves the brand closer to its stated goal of a complete range within its first three years. AIATA said further models are already in development, reflecting its commitment to long-term growth. With both models on display in Cannes, visitors will be able to compare the open-air Sunfinder range with the enclosed, weather-protected Wayfinder line directly.

What does the Wayfinder 50 offer inside?

Designed by Finnish designer Jarkko Jämsén of Navia Design, the Wayfinder 50 is the enclosed counterpart to the recently launched Sunfinder 50, sharing the same hull architecture and core platform. The new model is aimed at owners who want more protection from the elements, greater onboard comfort and flexibility for longer cruising trips.

The interior is offered in two layouts. The standard version has two cabins, one bathroom with a separate shower, and a galley, suited to family cruising and extended stays aboard. An alternative layout swaps the galley for a second bathroom, giving two cabins and two bathrooms, each with its own separate shower, for owners who prioritise privacy and convenience.

AIATA said the Wayfinder 50 combines generous volumes with practical, space-saving solutions intended to simplify life on board, bridging day boating and longer cruising while retaining the range’s usability and performance.

Sunfinder 38 introduces the brand's open-deck philosophy

Alongside the Wayfinder 50, AIATA will show the Sunfinder 38, a model built around maximised open-deck space. The company describes it as a versatile platform suited to leisure cruising, social gatherings and family outings, with a layout designed for everyday practicality.

As the entry point to the Sunfinder family, the 38 reflects AIATA’s approach of tailoring models to different types of owner, from luxury-oriented configurations to comfort-led or open-air layouts. According to AIATA, the Sunfinder 38 sets the tone for further models in the range, each shaped around its own use case but sharing an emphasis on space and openness.

From the beginning, we established a clear roadmap for AIATA, focused on product development, market expansion and long-term sustainability. The introduction of the Wayfinder 50 demonstrates that we are executing that strategy as planned. In less than two years we have expanded our range, built an international dealer network and strengthened our brand presence across multiple continents. Cannes 2026 is therefore not only an opportunity to present a new boat, but also to showcase the progress AIATA has achieved in a remarkably short period of time.
