Specialist Small Craft supplies Kontra R450CC to Southampton lifeboat service
Wiltshire-based Specialist Small Craft has supplied a Kontra R450CC rescue boat to the newly formed Southampton Independent Lifeboat service.
Following on from the successful launch of the Axopar 28 Cabin last year, RIB Shack Marine are now planning to bring their first Axopar 37 XC Cross Cabin into their shared boat ownership scheme in January 2021. With five Axopar 28s already in the fleet, ‘it is now time to go up another level,’ said Colin Vine, director at RIB Shack.
All RIB Shack boats come fully spec’d and the Axopar 37 XC will be no different. They have gone for the gull-winged twin-cabin option as this will give their customers greater versatility. This boat will be configured with twin Mercury 300 V8 engines, with a view to offering enhanced performance in all conditions.
RIB Shack will be offering demonstrations to interested parties in October this year, and contact can be made via the form at www.ribshackmarine.co.uk.
