SBS Trailers are unveiling electric boat launcher at Seawork
SBS Trailers will bring Tectrax’s C-ROVR electric boat launch system to Seawork 2026, offering remote-controlled launching without a tow vehicle.
Beneteau are launching their new Flyer 8 SPACEdeck and SUNdeck boats this September. Revisiting the concept that has brought the company success in the dayboat segment of the powerboat market, the two new Flyer 8s are based on the same hull, equipped with Air Step2, which is designed to offer a quick lift-off, comfort and stability. The boats, which can be easily transported, come with two different deck plans and interiors: the SPACEdeck has a central console while the SUNdeck offers a double cabin under the large sunbathing area.
In line with current market trends, much consideration has been given to ergonomics, cost-effectiveness and performance. The limited space occupied by the engine makes it easier to move about the stern, and the two new powerboats are also lighter, with a reduction in their weight of nearly 7%. As for performance, the 350hp engine, developed in partnership with Suzuki, produces a guaranteed top speed of 43 knots.
