Beneteau expands the Flyer range with a new day boat model

Beneteau has unveiled the Flyer 30, the newest model in its Flyer day boat range and the first to carry the range into what the brand calls its next generation. Designed to expand the possibilities of day boating, the Flyer 30 combines a patented twin-step hull, more sociable onboard spaces and greater coastal capability, according to Beneteau, which says the model builds on a Flyer range already valued around the world for its versatility, style and ease of use.

What kind of boating is the Flyer 30 designed for?

Beneteau says the Flyer 30 is designed for boaters who want the sociability and simplicity of a day boat, combined with the confidence to go beyond protected waters. The company describes it as responding to a growing desire for freer, smoother navigation, covering everything from spontaneous outings and time at anchor to longer coastal journeys and evenings on board. Beneteau positions the model as a new interpretation of the day boat: more versatile, more architectural, and more attuned to how people gather on board today.

How does the Flyer 30's hull and power package perform?

The Flyer 30 is built around a patented SVVT (Stepped Vee Ventilated Tunnel) twin-step hull, which Beneteau says delivers enhanced lift and efficiency, predictable handling and composed behaviour underway, and balanced weight distribution for smooth, controlled performance. Paired with twin outboard engines and a 210 US gallon fuel tank, the boat is designed to offer the power, responsiveness and range needed for longer coastal journeys while keeping the ease of use expected of the Flyer range. A generous freeboard height adds further comfort and security, while a full-height windscreen offers greater protection at speed.

What is the layout and social space like on board?

Beneteau told PBR they have has built the Flyer 30 around a single-level, asymmetrical deck, intended to make movement around the boat feel seamless and improve sightlines and connection between the different onboard areas. Highlights include a wrap-around bow lounge for relaxing underway or at anchor, flexible aft seating that adapts to different uses through the day, and a helm area with three seats for a shared navigation experience. Integrated social spaces include a wet bar at the centre of life on board, while console access leads to an interior space with head facilities, adding comfort for longer days on the water.

How does the Flyer 30 look on board and from the water?

Beneteau describes the Flyer 30’s design language as signalling the future of the range while staying true to its design heritage, with continuity, balance and lightness running from the hull lines to the hardtop, and a silhouette the brand calls harmonious. A floating roof element and open sightlines are intended to connect the boat to the surrounding water. Finishes include soft tonal palettes, low-contrast textures and premium upholstery, using materials chosen for the demands of the marine environment.

When and where will the Flyer 30 make its debut?

The Flyer 30 debuted in Newport (September 17 – 20, 2026) and will also debut at Fort Lauderdale (October 28 – November 1, 2026), and boot Düsseldorf (January 23-31, 2027). Beneteau says the model marks the start of a broader evolution of the Flyer range, building on its existing global success.
