Final countdown to Plymouth Boat Fest 2026
Plymouth Boat Fest 2026 will bring marine technology, leisure boating and live demonstrations to Mount Batten this June.
Crafted by renowned boatbuilder Cockwells, the Hardy 50DS is set to mark its world debut at this year’s show, where it will undoubtedly wow show goers with its blend of rugged practicality and contemporary design, incorporating the very latest technology and luxury comforts.
“We are thrilled to unveil the Hardy 50DS at this year’s show,” says Tim Mayer, Sales and Marketing Director, MDL Marinas. “This impressive vessel represents the epitome of maritime excellence, and we are proud to partner with Cockwells to bring it to our esteemed clientele.”

Showcasing impeccable craftsmanship and outstanding performance, the striking Category A sea-going explorer yacht embodies the spirit of adventure and luxury on the water. Designed for discerning yachtsmen seeking a go-anywhere cruiser with unparalleled comfort and style, the Hardy 50DS offers spacious accommodation and state-of-the-art amenities. Boasting a double-berthed ensuite owner’s stateroom and two twin-berthed guest cabins, alongside a vast deck saloon, cockpit and generous bathing platform, this sea-going yacht is tailor-made for socialising and relaxing. Whether cruising along the coast or embarking on extended voyages, this exceptional yacht delivers an unforgettable experience for owners and guests alike.

The team at Cockwells is always open to exploring new ways in which they can integrate green technology in their designs, without compromising on performance or luxury – such as incorporating hybrid propulsion systems and energy efficient features onto some of their vessels.
“At Cockwells, we are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of marine engineering while embracing eco-friendly practices,” says Dave Cockwell, Founder of Cockwells. “The South Coast & Green Tech Boat Show is the perfect platform to host the world debut of the Hardy 50DS, which aligns with our commitment to innovation in the maritime industry.”
