Dometic introduces Ocean Clarity cording technology for yacht blinds

Dometic has introduced Ocean Clarity, a patent-pending clear cording technology for blinds designed for contemporary marine interiors.

Developed for use with Dometic Skysol Classic and Honeycomb blind systems, Ocean Clarity uses a UV-stabilised monofilament cord construction. According to Dometic, the technology has been engineered to reduce visual obstruction, improve sightlines and create a lighter appearance across a range of blind applications and bespoke configurations.

Dometic said the new cording technology responds to a growing focus among yacht designers, OEMs and end users on brighter, more open interior spaces with less visual interruption.

The company said Ocean Clarity is intended to provide a cleaner appearance whether blinds are stowed or deployed, while maintaining everyday functionality in marine environments.

Dometic said Ocean Clarity is suitable for both new-build and refit projects and is now available across compatible Dometic blind systems through its authorised distributor network.

The company said the development forms part of its wider focus on design-led marine products that combine onboard functionality with refined interior presentation.
