Garmin have announced the introduction of their new GC 100 marine camera, a wireless camera solution designed for mariners who want to keep an eye on areas inside or around their boat. Featuring a small, compact footprint with a discreet, weatherproof design, the GC 100 streams high-quality 720p HD video to display directly on a compatible Garmin chartplotter and any other chartplotter on the same network.
The GC 100 can be installed nearly anywhere, inside and out, and even in total darkness, like an engine room. Hardwired for power, the camera is ready to use with a one-button set-up. Up to seven GC 100 cameras can be paired with the chartplotter, with the ability to view up to four camera feeds simultaneously.
