Jeanneau launches new EX range with world premiere of EX 34

Jeanneau informed PBR that it has introduced EX, a new range of motor boats built around what the shipyard calls a philosophy of essentials. The EX 34, the first model in the range, will have its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival, running from September 8 to 13, 2026, in Hardtop version. The range joins Jeanneau’s existing Cap Camarat, Merry Fisher, TH and DB Yachts lines, extending the brand’s line-up into a new area, according to Jeanneau.

EX stands for Elements and Crossplatform. Jeanneau describes it as a boat designed around a direct connection with the sea and the outdoors, built on a versatile platform that adapts to different ways of using the water and is intended to handle a range of seas and seasons. The shipyard says one idea guides the range: focus on what matters and remove what complicates, to produce a boat that is clear, intuitive and reassuring.

Jeanneau says EX is not a derivative model but a complete range with its own deep-V hull, designed specifically for the project. Where Cap Camarat is built around sportiness, Merry Fisher around liveability and versatility, TH around space in a motor catamaran and DB Yachts around premium day-boating, Jeanneau positions EX as a boat focused on everyday, real-world use. The range is aimed both at experienced sailors and at people new to boating, describing the EX as easy to understand and handle, for owners who value confidence and discovery over outright performance.

Jeanneau says the EX range comes with a standard configuration designed for navigation, with options grouped by how they are used rather than listed at length, and states that an enriched version with options is never a downgraded one and adds that pricing has been designed to remain accessible.

The EX 34 measures just under ten metres in length, with a 3.2-metre beam, and combines a compact, lightweight deep-V hull with twin outboard engines. It is built on a single deck platform and offered in two versions.

The EX 34 Hardtop is built around an open aft cockpit centred on a sunpad, with a quick-deploy soft enclosure that provides shelter while keeping the boat’s open-air character. The EX 34 Cabin uses the same platform but adds a fully glazed rigid wheelhouse with a large sliding bay window, along with air conditioning or heating and a convertible helm station that turns into an interior lounge.

Both versions share the same five-space layout: aft platforms, aft cockpit, central saloon, helm station and forward lounge. At the centre, a convertible saloon with an integrated galley sits beneath the boat’s roof, for preparing meals, dining or relaxing. Below deck, two cabins and a separate head give both versions genuine overnight capability. The EX 34 is intended to suit a range of uses, from fast coastal runs and swimming stops to time at anchor, entertaining or carrying leisure equipment.
