MDL Marinas have invested over £350K in a new dry stack forklift at their Saxon Wharf marina in Southampton. Combining high-capacity lifting with stability, the marina’s new Wiggins Marina Bull forklift has the lowest centre of gravity and heaviest counterweights in the industry, ensuring that MDL’s customers’ boats are launched safely and lifted confidently back into position on the dry stack after use.

Dave Walters, manager at Saxon Wharf, said: ‘We’ve been able to customise our forklift to meet our specific needs and requirements to ensure we can offer our dry stack customers the best service possible.

Situated on Southampton’s River Itchen, Saxon Wharf Marina’s extensive dry stack facility offers secure dry berthing and on-demand launching and lifting for boats up to 13m. Its location close to Southampton Water and the Solent offers an almost endless supply of cruising destinations.
