New marine lighting control system launched

Metro Marine Lighting has launched the MM-CC-V1 Control Center, a new marine lighting controller designed to manage vessel lighting and selected onboard electronics through a single interface.

Metro Marine Lighting tells PBR that the MM-CC-V1 can control up to 256 individual full-spectrum lighting fixtures and supports 15 fully programmable preset visual scenes, as well as custom scene capabilities. Purpose-built for marine use and 12/24V DC systems, the controller is designed to combine automation, real-time visual control and integration with Garmin OneHelm™ and NMEA 2000.

Mobile app adds onboard lighting control

Metro Marine Lighting has also introduced a complementary mobile app, available for iOS from the Apple App Store. The app allows boaters to customise a vessel’s lighting system, including hue blending, preset light shows and lighting functions.

According to the company, the app also provides operation status notifications that can alert users to lighting malfunctions and potentially wider power issues on board.

The MM-CC-V1 sets the standard in marine lighting control, while maintaining a simplified setup and ease of use. This new controller paired with our mobile app offers boaters an unrivaled experience in precise lighting management. Together with our industry-leading lights, Metro Marine gives boaters an all-in-one solution for elevating their vessel’s aesthetics.

Automatic setup and live view functions

Metro Marine Lighting says the MM-CC-V1 begins working when started, scanning the lighting network, detecting connected fixtures and interfaces, and checking whether each device is running the latest firmware. Where updates are needed, these are handled in the background.

The system is designed for advanced RGBW lighting, underwater lights and other digital accessories. It also features a “live view” function intended to support simpler, more precise system management.

The MM-CC-V1 joins Metro Marine Lighting’s wider range of underwater lighting fixtures, accessories, wiring and mounts. PBR have been told its fixtures feature patented anti-biofouling and anti-condensation technologies.
