Retro-styled runabout joins the Mini Fisher range

The Mini Fisher Classic is the newest model in the Mini Fisher range and is now available for sale. Also known as the MF Classic, it is inspired by the sporty runabout boats of the 1950s and 60s, and Mini Fisher says it combines traditional craftsmanship with modern performance and safety in a compact package suited to family boating. Visitors can see the Classic in person at the Southampton International Boat Show this week on Stand A60.

What design and finish options does the Mini Fisher Classic offer?

The MF Classic features classic lines, stainless steel accents and a customisable range of colours and upholstery, including the full RAL-Classic colour range. Mini Fisher says the teak-effect decking gives the boat a high-quality, inviting finish. Two individual seats come as standard, with the option to convert the back seat into a sun lounger – ideal for relaxing days on the lake or at sea.

Which engines can the Mini Fisher Classic run without a licence?

The MF Classic’s hull is engineered to take both petrol and electric outboards. According to Mini Fisher, owners can take the boat onto the water without a boating licence using up to a 15hp petrol engine or a 7kW electric motor. For those wanting a sportier ride, the hull is rated to handle outboards of up to 60hp.

How compact is the Mini Fisher Classic for towing and storage?

With a towing length of 5.5 metres on a trailer, excluding the motor and bathing platform, the MF Classic is designed to fit into most standard garages. According to Mini Fisher its lightweight construction makes launching, storing and transporting the boat straightforward, whether for day trips, weekend getaways or coastal cruising.
