New Reeds Nautical Almanac 2027 offers exclusive discount for readers
The 2027 Reeds Nautical Almanac arrives with 45,000 annual changes and updated waypoints, alongside an exclusive subscription discount for readers.
Icom launched their new IC-M510BB black box modular transceiver at this year’s METS (Marine Equipment Trade Show). The all-new IC-M510BB can be installed out of sight for convenience or where space for electronic equipment is at a premium.
Up to three remote-control mics (the company’s HM-195GB Commandmic) can fully operate all the features of the IC-M510BB and can be installed up to 18.3m away from the main radio unit itself. The transceiver is supplied as standard with one HM-195GB, but by adding others will allow the user to control the 25W fixed radio from multiple areas on board.
The IC-M510BB adopts many features from Icom’s NMEA award-winning IC-M510 VHF marine radio, including an AIS receiver that can be displayed on all three Commandmics or outputted to other devices. Hailer and horn functions are also built in, as well as integrated GPS.
The IC-M510BB is planned to be available from around April 2023.
