Prestige introduces updated M-Line flagship

Prestige has introduced the M8 EVO, the evolution of its M-Line flagship and a development of the brand’s motor multihull concept.

The company says its M-Line models are designed as pure motor yachts, using twin-hull architecture to provide greater beam, onboard volume, storage and stability than might typically be expected from a yacht of comparable length.

With the new M8 EVO, Prestige takes a step forward in the evolution of its M-Line flagship. This new model is shaped by the constant dialogue with M8 owners cruising all around the world, combined with the expertise synergy between French industrial savoir-faire and innovative Italian design.

Jean-François Lair, Prestige Brand Director

Exterior design and cruising efficiency

Prestige says the M8 EVO has been given a refined exterior profile through three main changes: new hull windows, a revised black fashion plate and a reimagined hardtop.

The company describes the yacht as combining a streamlined monohull-style silhouette with the volume and stability associated with twin-hull architecture. It also says the optimised hull design is intended to improve efficiency and reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions compared with a monohull of equivalent volume.

Prestige state sustainable materials have been integrated into the design, including responsibly sourced wood, vegetable-tanned leather and low-impact finishes. An optional Silent Mode Pack is also available, designed to allow extended periods at anchor without noise, vibration or direct emissions, supported by optimised energy management and solar panels.

Redesigned flybridge and interior layout

The M8 EVO has been shaped by feedback from M8 owners, with changes including a redesigned flybridge, new hardtop supports and the removal of the internal staircase to create a more open layout.

The flybridge now extends across the full beam, creating an open-air living area with wider views and more flexible use of space. Aft, a revised layout allows owners to configure the area according to their preferences, while the cockpit remains positioned as an open terrace close to the water.

Inside, the main deck has been redesigned with a helm-side galley and dining area, including a bar moved to starboard. Prestige state the arrangement supports easier movement, more discreet service and a stronger connection between living and dining spaces.

The owner’s suite has also been redesigned, with a full-beam cabin, walk-in wardrobe, dedicated office space and relaxation area.

Through the M8 EVO, we wanted to create a more intimate and welcoming atmosphere, where modernist inspiration meets a contemporary interpretation of Art Deco glamour. The purity of the forms, combined with warm natural materials and deep tones, leaves space for owners to truly make the yacht their own.
