Riva Lounge opens at Borgo Santandrea on the Amalfi Coast

Riva has opened a new Riva Lounge at Borgo Santandrea, the Relais & Châteaux five-star hotel in Amalfi, adding another Mediterranean location to its Riva Destinations portfolio.

The lounge overlooks the Amalfi Coast and the Mediterranean Sea from Borgo Santandrea, a hotel described by Riva as combining 1960s Italian design with local craftsmanship.

The new Riva Lounge has been designed to reflect the styling associated with Riva yachts, using polished mahogany, chrome-plated steel, aquamarine colourways and furnishings inspired by the brand’s established design language. According to Riva, the setting has been created for sunset drinks, social gatherings and evening hospitality overlooking the coast.

Guests at Borgo Santandrea can also book private cruises aboard a Riva Cento, the limited-edition open yacht. The company says the yacht will be available for excursions along the Amalfi Coast, including visits to coves and sunset aperitifs at sea.

Dedicated mooring buoys are also available for owners arriving by sea and can be reserved by contacting the property.

The opening of the Riva Lounge was celebrated during “Midsummer Dream”, an event organised by Ferretti Group for its owners. The two-day event began with cocktails in the new lounge and continued with a dinner and live entertainment.

The event also included the presentation of Riva 54Metri, described by the company as the largest Riva ever built. The all-aluminium flagship was presented with a drone show over the Gulf of Amalfi, accompanied by a fleet of boats representing Ferretti Group brands.

The new Borgo Santandrea lounge joins other Riva Destinations including locations in Venice, Monte Carlo, Göcek, Mallorca, Rovinj, Lake Como, Paris, Ischia, Lovere and Jeddah.
