Scanstrut has launched Ultra, the world’s first Qi2-certified, MagSafe-compatible waterproof wireless phone charger designed specifically for marine use. Combining sleek aesthetics with practical functionality, Ultra introduces a new standard for onboard phone charging.
Engineered for harsh marine conditions, Ultra features an IPX6 waterproof rating on both its front and back, toughened glass construction, and a fully sealed 12/24V wireless charging system. It is designed to blend neatly into modern boat interiors, sitting comfortably alongside large multifunction displays without cluttering the console.
Ultra’s magnetic hold ensures smartphones stay securely in place, even during fast cruising or rough sea states. The wireless setup eliminates the hassle of cables, keeping devices charged and accessible at all times.
As centre consoles evolve to incorporate larger screens and cleaner layouts, Ultra offers a streamlined solution that aligns with contemporary marine electronics. According to Eliot Mason, Product Designer at Scanstrut, “Ultra was a natural evolution for us… a solution that not only saves space and feels effortless to use, but also aligns seamlessly with modern tech and clean, contemporary aesthetics.”
Ultra is now available through Scanstrut’s marine product range.
