Sea-Doo unveils more powerful 2027 PWC lineup, including limited-edition Senna model

Sea-Doo, a brand of BRP Inc. (TSX/NASDAQ: DOO), has announced its 2027 personal watercraft (PWC) lineup, headlined by the Rotax 1630 ACE engine, now producing up to 350 hp (259 kW). Sea-Doo says the engine is the most powerful it has fitted as standard from the factory to a personal watercraft. The 2027 range also introduces a new entry-level model, the Spark X, powered by the new Rotax 1000 ACE engine at up to 110 hp (80 kW), and follows the recent debut of the limited-edition Sea-Doo RXP-X Senna 350, the brand’s tribute to motorsport driver Ayrton Senna.

The RXP-X Senna 350 joins the PWC lineup for a limited time as Sea-Doo’s tribute to Ayrton Senna, the motorsport driver. The model is built on the RXP-X platform and fitted with the new 350 hp Rotax 1630 ACE engine.

The Rotax 1630 ACE now delivers up to 350 hp (259 kW) across the Sea-Doo GTX Limited, RXT-X and RXP-X platforms, as well as the limited-edition RXP-X Senna. Sea-Doo describes it as the most powerful engine the brand has fitted as standard from the factory, offering greater power and acceleration across these models.

The Spark range is built on the new Rotax 1000 ACE engine, which Sea-Doo describes as the next evolution of the 900 ACE platform. It is offered in three outputs, 60 hp (44 kW), 90 hp (66 kW) and 110 hp (80 kW), letting riders choose between efficiency, performance and the lightweight handling associated with the Spark lineup. According to Sea-Doo, the 110 hp version increases the Spark’s top speed by 15 per cent and improves the power-to-weight ratio, giving stronger acceleration, sharper handling and more responsive performance on the water. Sea-Doo says the Spark range remains playful and affordable, with the new engine adding more performance across all three variants.

The Spark X is a new addition to the Spark family, also available with the Trixx package, and both are fitted with the 110 hp engine and Sea-Doo’s Intelligent Debris Free (iDF) system, which lets riders clear debris from the pump using handlebar-mounted controls. The Spark X adds a standard Speed Regulator and boarding step, along with an exclusive colourway featuring a colour-matched deck. The colour-matched deck and BRP Audio-portable System are also available as options on the Spark X Trixx.

Sea-Doo is also extending its 10.25-inch touchscreen display, introduced last year, to the GTX and GTR-X models, bringing wider connectivity across the lineup.

Sea-Doo has entered a one-year partnership with Senna Brand, the company created by the Senna family to continue the legacy of three-time Formula 1 world champion Ayrton Senna. Together, the two companies have created a limited-edition personal watercraft, the RXP-X Senna 350, which Sea-Doo says pays tribute to the career of the Brazilian racing legend.

Sea-Doo selected its RXP-X platform for the collaboration, saying its performance credentials align with Senna’s reputation as a champion.

The RXP-X Senna 350 debuts the Rotax 1630 ACE, which Sea-Doo describes as its most powerful personal watercraft factory engine to date. It delivers 350 horsepower and, according to Sea-Doo, a 15 percent faster 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) acceleration compared with previous models.
