Sea Tow launches redesigned mobile app for boaters 

Sea Tow® has launched a redesigned mobile app for members and non-members, offering access to on-water assistance, marine weather information and membership services. The company provides 24-hour priority service in locations including the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Canada and Alaska. 

The company says the updated app has been developed to provide more responsive performance and simpler navigation. Its features include coastal marine forecasts, real-time wind conditions, weather radar, interactive tide charts and severe weather alerts. 

Users can also access boating videos and blog content through the app. 

The app’s request assistance function allows users to share their GPS location automatically when seeking help on the water. Sea Tow says this is intended to improve communication and reduce uncertainty when identifying a boater’s position. 

Sea Tow members can use the app to manage or renew their membership, access member-only content and securely store vessel information. According to the company, storing these details can make the process of requesting assistance quicker and more efficient. 

Non-members can access the app’s weather resources, including tide information, wind conditions, radar and coastal marine forecasts. They can also use the app to request on-water assistance when required. 

The Sea Tow app is available as a free download for iOS and Android devices through Apple and Google’s app marketplaces.
