The launch of the new Seaward 31 sees the Isle Of Wight based boatbuilder continuing to expand and flourish. Like her stablemates, this latest Seaward Nelson design features a powerful twin screw configuration and four berth accommodation. With a round bilge semi-displacement hull, the 31 is distinguished from the Seaward 29 by her extended running length and built-in stern platform. Weighing in at around 6 tons she’s an offshore craft designed to provide a high standard of sea-keeping and comfort for both coast-hopping or long distance cruising. The company state that the new model is both predictable and precise in her maneuverability, and thanks to her wide and low side deck format, she also makes for a very user friendly craft. The standard boat is offered with a full cruising specification that includes hot water, shower, refrigerator and electric windlass, but as with all Seaward boats, the internal specification is ultimately down to the choice of the owner. All interested parties can download the 31’s full specification and detailed information via www.seawardboat.com.
