SBS Trailers are unveiling electric boat launcher at Seawork
SBS Trailers will bring Tectrax’s C-ROVR electric boat launch system to Seawork 2026, offering remote-controlled launching without a tow vehicle.
This year sees the 10th operating season of the St Mawes Water Taxi. The service was started by Mark Bower, who runs the operation alongside his Sit-on Kayak Hire business, and is based in St Mawes harbour.
He runs an XS650 RIB with a Mercury 150, the whole boat having been repowered and refurbished in 2017. Licensed for eight passengers, Mark takes thrill-seekers on fast trips around the bay, or visits waterside hostelries as far afield as Helford, as well as taking evening trips to and from Falmouth. He also runs visiting yachtsmen to their boats moored in St Mawes harbour most evenings during the season.
The season runs from April to early January (daylight hours only from November onwards).
