STERK Yachts has finalised internal hull modifications to accommodate Vision Marine Technologies’ EMotion™ 180E electric propulsion system. The development is a key milestone under the companies’ exclusive supply agreement and paves the way for fully-electric, high-performance boat models.
The redesigned internal structure of STERK vessels supports flexible battery configurations, ranging from three to four high-voltage packs. These can be adapted for both single and dual outboard setups. The optimisation is intended to streamline integration of Vision Marine’s industrial-grade electric powertrain, which is aimed at the premium boat market.
The project marks the first phase of a broader collaboration, with system integration and sea trials scheduled in the coming month. Certification and commercial launch are expected to follow.
“This purpose-built hull design confirms the scalability and commercial readiness of our E-Motion™ platform,” said Alexandre Mongeon, CEO of Vision Marine. “It’s a strong execution of our partnership with STERK.”
