The Hut joins MDL Marinas’ Otium Rewards programme

The Hut, a waterfront restaurant on the Isle of Wight, has joined MDL Marinas’ Otium Rewards programme. The partnership means Otium members can now spend their points at the restaurant, creating what MDL Marinas describes as a new “Dock and Dine” experience for boaters exploring the Solent.

The Hut is accessible by water and sits a short cruise from several MDL Marinas sites across the Solent, including Hamble Point Marina, Ocean Village Marina, Mercury Yacht Harbour and Port Hamble Marina. The restaurant overlooks Colwell Bay, and MDL Marinas says it has become one of the region’s popular destinations for boaters looking to combine a day on the water with lunch by the shore.

The Hut’s menu features freshly landed seafood, native lobster, premium steaks and sharing platters. MDL Marinas says the restaurant is known for its food, hospitality and views across the bay.

Otium rewards both MDL berth holders and visitors whenever they use the marina network, with annual berth holders receiving enhanced rewards. All members can earn points on eligible purchases across MDL’s marinas. Points can then be redeemed instantly against MDL services or exchanged for vouchers with Otium partners, including The Hut.

MDL Marinas says the partnership reflects its ambition to build a rewards programme that goes beyond the marina, helping members get more from every boating trip while supporting businesses in the region’s cruising grounds.
