UIM F4 World Championship prepares for Viverone

The UIM F4 World Championship is preparing for its next event in Viverone, with championship points at stake as the 2026 season moves towards its concluding rounds.

Organisers describe F4 as a development category for emerging international powerboat racing talent, combining technical ability, discipline and race management. The Viverone programme is scheduled to include official practice, qualifying and two race heats.

The margins in F4 are incredibly small. Every lap, every start and every decision counts. We’re seeing exceptional development from the drivers this year, and the next rounds will be pivotal in deciding the championship.

Adam Wrenkler and Ardis Slakteris tied on points

Sweden’s Adam Wrenkler and Latvian rookie Ardis Slakteris head into the Viverone event tied on points. According to the championship organisers, each driver recorded a race victory and a sixth-place finish at the opening round in Klaipėda.

Just nine points separate the top five drivers and that 40 points remain available across the final two rounds in Viverone, leaving the championship standings open ahead of the concluding races.

Practice and qualifying will determine the starting positions before the two race heats, with acceleration, speed and technical precision expected to play an important part in the outcome.

F4 provides pathway towards F2 and F1H2O

The championship organisers position F4 as part of the development pathway for drivers seeking to progress towards F2 and F1H2O competition.

With Wrenkler and Slakteris level on points and several other competitors still within reach, the Viverone races could have a significant bearing on the final 2026 UIM F4 World Championship standings.
