Yamaha Motor Europe has entered a five-year OEM agreement with Dutch builder Whaly Boats, pairing Yamaha outboard engines with Whaly’s rugged, rotationally moulded craft.

Yamaha Motor Europe has entered a five-year OEM agreement with Dutch builder Whaly Boats, pairing Yamaha outboard engines with Whaly’s rugged, rotationally moulded craft.
Based in the Netherlands, Whaly manufactures high-grade plastic boats known for their simplicity, strength and safety. The range serves leisure, rescue, rental and professional markets worldwide. The new agreement covers a variety of Whaly models, offering customers a consistent factory-approved engine and hull combination.
The partnership brings together Whaly’s lightweight, low-maintenance designs with Yamaha’s established marine engineering, creating a straightforward and reliable boating solution. The combined package is intended to suit users seeking easy handling and dependable performance across a wide range of applications.
Whaly boats offer a unique proposition that blends functionality with fun. By pairing their straightforward, go-anywhere hulls with Yamaha outboards, we ensure users benefit from a trusted rig that delivers excellent value and enduring performance.

In other news, Yamaha Motor Europe has confirmed an expanded partnership with French boatbuilder Zodiac Nautic, progressing their long standing rigging agreement into a full five year collaboration. Zodiac Nautic’s inflatables and rigid hull inflatables will now be EmPowered by Yamaha outboard engines across the range.
Both companies bring decades of marine heritage. Zodiac Nautic, with more than 120 years of history, is recognised globally for inflatable and rigid inflatable boats trusted by recreational users, professionals and rescue services. The agreement aligns Zodiac’s legacy of innovation, safety and adventure with Yamaha’s propulsion technology, control systems and European support network.
The collaboration reflects shared values of performance, reliability and long term customer confidence.
