Williams Marine and Watersports appointed SilverCat dealer
Williams Marine and Watersports will represent SilverCat on England’s South Coast, bringing the power catamaran brand to Swanwick Marina.
Yamaha Motor Corporation has introduced a new Wireless Control feature for its Helm Master EX system at the 2025 Miami International Boat Show. This latest addition enhances boat control by allowing captains to operate their vessels remotely while moving freely onboard.
Available for single to quint engine configurations, the wireless system integrates joystick functionality, autopilot, and a man-overboard (MOB) feature. The handheld controller enables single-handed operation, providing flexibility for tasks such as line handling. The MOB system ensures safety by slowing or stopping the boat if a captain or passenger falls overboard.
The Wireless Control System supports Helm Master EX’s autopilot features, including StayPoint®, FishPoint®, and DriftPoint®. It is buoyant, offers up to eight hours of use, and includes a charging cradle. The system will be available in Europe from H2 2025 for Helm Master EX units with updated software.
