In this week’s episode of boating top tips to #getstartedboating with Parker Boats and Tide Media, the question is ‘Are you overweight??!!’

An overloaded vessel is more difficult to operate. A boat that exceeds its maximum weight capacity has to use more fuel and is more prone to capsizing or swamping. Overloading a boat can also make it less stable. So make sure you don’t overload your boat, no matter what size it is. Unsure what boat is right for you? Chat to your local Parker dealer to make sure you have the right deck layout and capacity to pair to your boating needs.
