Boat and equipment sales rise at Finland’s Uiva Flytande show
Uiva Flytande drew over 10,000 visitors to Helsinki, with strong sales for Axopar, Buster and Saxdor signalling a market recovery.
The Axopar 22 range recently accomplished a rare hat-trick in the boating industry by consecutively winning the following three European independent boating awards: Best of Boats International 2021 – ‘Best for Beginners’; European Powerboat of the Year 2022 – ‘Up to 8m’; and Motor Boat Awards 2022 – ‘Sports Boat up to 30ft’
These three awards are organised by a large number of boating journalists, chief editors and boat test riders from all over Europe covering an array of industry-leading magazines. All the magazines and journalists are renowned for sea-trialling and testing hundreds of new motorboats annually from leading boatbuilding countries, looking for criteria when selecting nominees for their respective awards such as workmanship, safety, driving behaviour, design, price/performance ratio and practical needs for boaters.
