The 2025 International Multihull Show, held in La Grande Motte, France, introduced a significant new addition: a dedicated marina exclusively for power catamarans. This expansion marks a strategic response to the growing demand for powercats in the multihull sector.
Now in its 16th year, the event showcased over 73 boats, with 58 located in the traditional floating exhibition space and the remainder occupying the newly established powercat marina. Key brands present included Lagoon, Leopard, Fountaine Pajot, Nautitech, Excess, Seawind, and others.
The event brought together 175 exhibitors representing more than 260 brands across 13 nationalities. Over 25 of these were first-time participants. Since being acquired by the Fédération des Industries Nautiques (FIN) two years ago, the show has continued to develop its international profile. In 2025, it officially became a member of IFBSO, joining the ranks of globally recognised events like Palma, Genoa and Sydney.
Support for the show was bolstered by local authorities, including the Mayor of La Grande Motte, the Port, and the Occitanie Region. Their cooperation with the FIN was instrumental in expanding the show’s capacity and international draw.
A strong emphasis was placed on innovation and sustainability. Exhibitors highlighted hybrid and electric propulsion technologies, with eight hybrid and three all-electric catamarans on display. Brands such as Transfluid, Temo, and Ecoboats exhibited electric engine solutions, while Windelo and Modx 70 drew attention as fully electric models.
The 17th edition is scheduled for 22–26 April 2026 and promises further enhancements, continuing its dual focus on professional engagement and visitor experience.
