Windermere unveils new sustainable GT Mono Light class
Windermere’s third sustainable race day introduced a new national class and underlined growing momentum behind lower-carbon powerboat racing.
The SportJet 520, which can accommodate six passengers and features a sleek carbon black tube, accelerates to 48mph and is designed to cater to thrill seekers. From the visionary mind of director and producer Matthew Vaughn, creator of the Kingsman franchise and Kick-Ass, Argylle promises to redefine the spy thriller genre. The film stars Bryce Dallas Howard as Elly Conway, a reclusive author whose quiet life takes a thrilling turn as the espionage plots from her novels mirror real-life spy activities.
Tom Dowdell, Head of Marketing at Williams Jet Tenders, expressed the team’s enthusiasm: ‘We are thrilled about Argylle and the debut of our SportJet on the big screen in such an exciting new film. We can hardly wait to witness the cinematic spectacle when it hits the big screen in February.’
