Daniamant, a global leader in maritime safety technology, has unveiled the AQ-4 MKII strobe light – a breakthrough designed to deliver exceptional underwater visibility for professional maritime and offshore operations. The innovation marks a significant step forward in life-saving technology, providing reliable illumination where visibility is critical.

Unlike steady light sources, the AQ-4 MKII’s powerful flashing LED strobe ensures long-range detection, particularly in low-light or night-time conditions. In emergencies, this enhanced visibility can be the difference between life and death, helping rescue teams to locate individuals swiftly in turbulent seas or darkness.

Designed for easy attachment to lifejackets, survival suits or diving gear, the AQ-4 MKII is built for extreme weather and challenging marine environments. It operates automatically upon immersion, removing the need for manual activation and reducing the risk of human error.

The light’s robust design includes waterproofing to 500 metres, up to eight hours of continuous operation and resistance to saltwater corrosion, freezing temperatures and impact damage. Fully certified to SOLAS, MED and USCG standards, and assigned a NATO Stock Number, the AQ-4 MKII meets the highest global safety requirements.
